Easy, Tiger: Wild Beasts up the ante on "Big Cat"
Wild Beasts have revealed "Big Cat", the second preview of John Congleton-produced record Boy King.
The track follows the statement-making "Get My Bang" in previewing the band's follow up to 2014's Present Tense - which we gave a rare perfect score in our review.
“If ‘Get My Bang’ was a song of the id then ‘Big Cat’ is the ego,” says Wild Beast Hayden Thorpe. “It marked a breakthrough in the writing process for the album, defining the swagger and attitude that would come to shape Boy King. He is all powerful, but at what price?”
Boy King is out 5 August via Domino. A deluxe version includes a bonus 7" with two bonus songs and a 12-page booklet.
Wild Beasts recently announced a huge new tour, including a date at London's Roundhouse. They headline Green Man 2016 this summer.
