Duffy returns with emotional new ballad "River In The Sky"
Duffy has returned with new ballad "River In The Sky", her first song since opening up about being kidnapped.
Back in March, Duffy sent a song called "Something Beautiful" to Jo Whiley for her to play on her BBC Radio 2 show. She revealed she didn't have plans to release it, writing, "I just thought a little something might be nice for people if they are at home, on lockdown."
The following month, Duffy uploaded an essay detailing her kidnap. She revealed she was initially drugged in a restaurant on her birthday before being held captive in her own home and taken to a foreign country.
Today (18 June), Duffy shared her new song "River In The Sky" on Instagram, writing, "For the better days to come."
