Dreya Mac kicks off 2021 with Karma Kid-produced new cut "BAG"
West London’s Dreya Mac has returned with her first release of 2021 "BAG", which features production from Karma Kid (Rudimental, Dua Lipa, Lily Allen, Aminé).
"BAG" follows Dreya Mac's April 2020 release "Skippin", and her Mally collaboration "Sativa" that landed in September last year.
Mac's latest release is produced by Karma Kid, and is teamed with a energetic visual directed by Mac and Charlie Di Placido (Kojey Radical, Nines).
She says of her newest single, ""BAG" is all about me; what I’m about to do in music and life, what I do and don’t like, my family. Even down to the structure of the song, it depicts my sporadic thought process in general conversations and shows my crazy energy. It was definitely made for mosh pits and festivals."
Dreya Mac adds, "I met Karma Kid (producer) at the end of last year. My manager organised a session and we clicked instantly. He really cares about his music so it was great for me as I’m the same. I heard the guitar play through the speaker in the session and I pictured the video instantly."
Before picking up the mic last year, Dreya Mac was an established dancer and choreographer who had danced for Dua Lipa and appeared in Stormzy's "Vossi Bop" video.
