London's Wide Awake has confirmed Dream Wife, Daniel Avery, black midi and more to play the debut festival taking place in September.

After having to cancel the debut edition of the festival last year due to the pandemic, organisers have unveiled the first names for the 2021 festival taking place at London's Brockwell Park.

The likes of Dream Wife, Daniel Avery, black midi, Erol Alkan, Scalping, Tinariwen, Boy Harsher, Crack Cloud, A Certain Ratio, Songhoy Blues, Tropical Fuck Storm and more have been confirmed, with more artists from last year's lineup still to be announced.

Wide Awake organiser Marcus Weedon says, "We’re incredibly excited to finally be able to bring this very special show to London this September. It’s been a tough year for everyone, not least the festival and event industry, and we have been working very hard to ensure Wide Awake is brilliantly curated with the safety of everyone at the forefront. We cannot wait to open our gates and welcome both fans and artists in what is going to be an incredibly special event this year."

Wide Awake 2021 takes place at London's Brockwell Park on 3 September. Super early bird tickets are on sale now from £29.50 at wideawake.seetickets.com.
