Drake previews unreleased tracks including collaboration with Popcaan
During an Instagram Live on OVO Mark's account, Drake teased a bunch of unreleased music, including a collaboration with Popcaan.
The Canadian rapper dropped his latest single "Toosie Slide" last Friday (3 April), and yesterday (6 April) he joined OVO Mark on his IG live to play some unreleased tracks.
Complex notes that one of the songs is a Playboi Carti collaboration known as "Pain 1993". It's expected to appear on Carti's upcoming album Whole Lotta Red. Drake also played a new drill-inspired collaboration with Sosa Greek and Fivio Foreign, which is reportedly produced by JB MadeIt.
He also teased a bunch of other unreleased material, including a track dubbed as "Rolling", a track that sees him rap, "Wrote this with a Cartier pen / do I sound different?", and a Popcaan collaboration.
The "Toosie Slide" rapper also revealed that a "proper version" of "Not Around" will feature on his upcoming album.
Before the end of the livestream, Drake said of his latest single, "We're just having fun, getting warmed up. Album's on the way, bout to slap headtop's out" before downing a shot and thanking people for tuning in.
