Drake has been given 300,000 Canadian dollars by Ontario’s Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport for this year’s OVO Festival.
The Drake-curated OVO Festival takes place in Toronto between 3-4 August, with Outkast, Drake himself and more performing. The fund hopes to help “new and existing Ontario festivals and events enhance their programs”.
Arts & Crafts’ Field Trip festival, featuring Broken Social Scene, Fucked Up and more, has also received $99,406 from the Canadian government this year.
