[Download] Oh! Canada 11 (Canada Day Special)
Happy Canada Day! For those of you not heading down to Trafalgar Square for the free concert featuring Radio Radio, Sarah Harmer, Jully Black and Dan Mangan amongst others to celebrate Canada’s 143rd Birthday (and indeed for those of you who are), TLOBF has put together a Canada Day special edition of our Oh! Canada Compilation. We are also delighted to have specially crafted artwork made by Forest City Lover Kat “Kashka” Burns, whose latest album Carriage came out in Canada this week.
Taking in music from Prince Edward Islands in the East to British Columbia in the West, this months edition opens with Jason Collett’s ode to his home country, and ends with ‘National Lullaby’, a track from Sevens Project, including members of Moondata, Bell Orchestre and Patrick Watson, as well as contributions from the likes of Kid Koala and The Besnard Lakes.
As ever, our thanks go out to all involved with putting together the compilation. We hope you enjoy it and it becomes part of the soundtrack of your summer. And of course, Happy Canada Day!
