Disclosure rebut Azealia Banks' claims that they've recorded a song together
Known as someone who tweets before she thinks, Azealia Banks took to the social network site yesterday to firmly announce that she’s been collaborating with Disclosure. Turns out that things aren’t as set in stone as that just yet.
Speaking to Dutch radio station 3VOOR12, the UK production pair explained that they’ve indeed met with the rapper recently but that a potential collaboration is still very much in the works.
“We don’t have a song with her yet. We’ve met her once. I think she’s kind of taken to Twitter quite heavily with the fact that she’s meeting with us. And people now think that we’ve made the greatest song of all time, and it doesn’t even actually have a chorus yet.”
They continued: “All these blogs think we’ve now made a masterpiece, but really, we just sat there eating sushi.”
Banks is still working on her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste, while Disclosure recently achieved a UK number 1 with their first full-length Settle.
