When not recording a new Major Lazer record, or advertising mobile phones, it seems that Diplo has been producing a film for Fox about the current EDM boom in the U.S.
Deadline are reporting that 20th Century Fox are set to release a new film, with Diplo as Executive Producer, focussing on “three teens try to get into Diplo’s Electronic Music Festival.”
They also describe the film as “8 Mile meets Project X in tone”. Production dates have not yet been set for the project.
