Devonté Hynes and Connan Mockasin release Marfa Myths 001 EP
Connan Mockasin and Devonté Hynes have teamed up for a new EP called Marfa Myths 001, and it's out now.
Mexican Summer presented the Marfa Myths festival in Marfa, Texas last March. Both Mockasin and Hynes were on the bill, and ended up working on three tracks together, which comprise their debut EP together.
As well as "Feelin' Lonely", which you can hear below, the EP includes "La Fat Fur" and "Big Distant Crush".
Marfa Myths fest will return in March 2016, with the likes of William Basinski, No Age, Sheer Mag, Quilt (with Mary Lattimore), Natalie Mering (Weyes Blood), and Emitt Rhodes on the bill. Rhodes will be performing live for the first time since 1973.
The Marfa Myths 001 EP is out now on Mexican Summer.
