Devendra Banhart has announced a new LP called Ape In Pink Marble and shared the first single "Middle Names".
"Middle Names" is a heartfelt, acoustic-led track tinged with Banhart's pain: “Four fathers who were very close to me died last year. One of them was my biological father. You gain a new sensitivity, but also an abyss of sorrow.”
Ape In Pink Marble is out 23 September, and will follow 2013's Mala.
Banhart is set to play End Of The Road festival in September alongside Broken Social Scene, Joanna Newsom, and many more.
