Merge Records, home to Arcade Fire, Neutral Milk Hotel and more, are turning 25 years of age in 2014, marking the occasion with a year-long subscription singles series.
The project will see previously-unreleased material coming from Superchunk, The Mountain Goats, Destroyer, Lambchop, Mikal Cronin, King Khan & the Shrines and more, pressed onto 7 inch coloured vinyl.
For a timely taster, they’ve unveiled this Halloween treat in the form of Superchunk’s cover of Misfits’ “Children In Heat”. Listen to that beneath and find out more info on the singles series here.
