Deap Vally announce new EP and link with Warpaint's jennylee for lead track "Look Away"
LA-based duo Deap Vally are back with news of their Digital Dream EP, and have shared "Look Away" featuring jennylee of Warpaint as the lead track.
"Look Away" marks Deap Vally's first collaboration with jennylee, and marks the duo's first release since uniting with The Flaming Lips last year on collaborative album Deap Lips.
Deap Vally's Julie Edwards met jennylee through mutual friends in the early 2000s at the Mustard Seed Cafe in Los Feliz, before either of them even played an instrument. Years later, Deap Vally's Lindsey Troy and jennylee bonded over a bonfire at a birthday celebration.
The duo's Digital Dream EP will feature three other tracks, all of which are collaborations, featuring KT Tunstall and Peaches, Soko and Zach Dawes (Mini Mansions, The Last Shadow Puppets), and Jamie Hince (The Kills).
