Dead Oceans, Jagjaguwar and Secretly Canadian announce Paved Paradise Label Expo
Five labels including Dead Oceans, Jagjaguwar and Secretly Canadian are joining forces for the Paved Paradise Label Expo, which will see them visit 15 cities in the eastern United States to sell a variety of music and merch.
Dead Oceans, Jagjaguwar and Secretly Canadian will team up with Ghostly International and Numero Group for the Paved Paradise Label Expo, which will take them on a tour across the eastern US to 15 cities in one, 24-foot truck.
The labels will recreate a record store experience outside of locations including the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Third Man Records, the birthplaces of Secretly, Ghostly and Numero in Bloomington, Detroit and Chicago, and more.
Each location will see the labels set up one-day event featuring two tents full of LPs, 45s, cassettes, CDs and limited editions including coloured vinyl, out-of-print items, vintage goods and merchandise from across the labels' catalogues.
There will also be a series of DJ sets and surprise performances from Secretly artists on the Paved Paradise Label Expo.

Ghostly International Special Projects Director and Brooklyn Flea Record Fair Director Amanda Colbenson says, "It's been invigorating to return to producing in person events. Getting to work with so many inspiring and impactful businesses and organisations is what this tour is all about and we are grateful to them for opening their doors and parking lots to our ambitious experiment. We can't wait to hit the road in the Penske and go see everyone."
