De La Soul give away entire back-catalogue for free
Legendary hip-hop trio De La Soul are marking Valentine’s Day by making their complete discography available for free download.
The Long Island group, celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, will make upload their back-catalogue to their official website from 11am EST (4pm in the UK) today – remaining free until noon on Saturday.
“It’s about allowing our fans who have been looking and trying to get a hold of our music to have access to it,” the band told Rolling Stone. “It’s been too long where our fans haven’t had access to everything. This is our way of showing them how much we love them.”
The band’s next album, entitled You’re Welcome, is said to be coming soon.
