David Bowie is prepping a new single from The Next Day in the form of album track ‘Valentine’s Day’.
‘Valentine’s Day’ will be the fourth standalone release lifted from the LP, following ‘Where Are We Now?’, ‘The Stars (Are Out Tonight)’ and the record’s title-track. It’ll be released as a 7″ picture disc on 19 August (UK) / 20 August (North America).
Its b-side has been revealed to be instrumental number ‘Plan’, with the entire thing up for pre-orders here. The cover art seems to be a translucent overlaying of his fame ‘Heroes’ hand gesture.
