David Bowie to premiere The Next Day Extra bonus tracks this week
David Bowie is prepping an expanded version of his recent album – The Next Day – for release, with some of the track being revealed this week.
The Next Day Extra will be a 3-disc affair, including the original album, a CD of bonus tracks, plus a DVD of music videos and more. It’ll be released on 4 November.
Three new bonus track (‘Atomica’, ‘Born In A UFO’, ‘Like A Rocket Man’) will be aired across UK radio stations, while the video the the James Murphy remix of ‘Love Is Lost’ will follow during More 4′s Barclaycard Mercury Prize TV broadcast.
The full schedule is as follows:
Wednesday 30 October
10.50am – BBC 6 Music, Lauren Laverne will play ‘ATOMICA’.
11.30am – BBC Radio 2, Ken Bruce will play ‘BORN IN A UFO’.
6.45pm – Absolute Radio, Geoff Lloyd will play ‘LIKE A ROCKET MAN’.
9.30pm - More 4′s Barclaycard Mercury Prize broadcast will air JAMES MUPRHY REMIX video.
