It’s been announced that Parlophone will mark the 40 year milestone of David Bowie’s release of seminal album Aladdin Sane with a special re-issue.
Aladdin Sane, the English musician’s sixth full-length, was originally released in 1973 – featuring tracks such as ‘The Jean Genie’ and ‘Time’.
It was the follow-up to The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, which was re-issued last year – going on to be the second best-selling vinyl LP of 2012.
This re-release will be completely remastered, dropping on 13 April.
Bowie’s forthcoming new album, The Next Day, precedes it on 11 March. Listen to his recent single here.
