David Bowie achieves first number one album in 20 years

David Bowie‘s comeback record, The Next Day has reached top spot in the UK Album Charts, bagging Bowie his first #1 record in 20 years.
The Next Day was released last Monday (11 March), selling more than 94,000 copies to achieve the legendary singer his first number one album since 1993′s Black Tie White Noise.
Bowie is also on track for his first #1 in America this week. The Next Day sold more in its first week than any album in the UK this year so far.
