For night six of Hanukkah, Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin decided to cover Elastica's "Connection" track, released as part of their Hanukkah Sessions project.
The Hanukkah Sessions is a covers project by Grohl and producer Greg Kurstin where they cover eight songs by eight different Jewish artists for each night of Hanukkah.
Last night (15 December) the duo marked night six of Hanukkah by covering Elastica's "Connection".
Grohll wrote of the cover, "From Brit Milot to Britpop…here’s one of the coolest tracks from the 90’s….sung by the very cool…and Jewish…Justine Frischmann…ELASTICA!"
Previous Hanukkah Sessions covers by Grohl and Kurstin include Bob Dylan's "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35", Beastie Boys' "Sabotage", Drake's "Hotline Bling", Mountain's "Mississippi Queen" and Peaches' "Fuck The Pain Away".Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin's cover of Elastica's "Connection" for their Hanukkah Sessions project is out now.
