Dave Grohl was given the honour of delivering the keynote speech at SXSW festival
yesterday, following on from last year’s host Bruce Springsteen.
The Foo Fighters/Nirvana man opened the talk by referring to the 2012 speaker, before addressing the merit of music criticism.
He even dropped the bombshell that ‘Gangnam Style’ is one of his “favourite songs of the last decade”, asking rhetorically: ”Is it any better or worse than the Atoms For Peace record?”
