D'Angelo taken to hospital following “serious medical emergency”

R&B singer, D’Angelo has been taken ill due to a yet unknown “medical emergency”, cancelling a flurry of dates in the meantime.
As the Chicago Tribune report, the musician was hospitalised last week, pulling his gig in the city on Wednesday night. He has since scrapped shows in New York, Maryland, San Diego and Minneapolis also.
A source close to the singer is quoted as saying: “It’s serious, but he should be OK”. More news as it develops.
