Damon Albarn to release charity track with Alex Kapranos, Flea and Nick Zinner
In aid of Oxfam’s Syria appeal, Blur’s Damon Albarn, Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos, Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Flea and Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are releasing a special charity track together.
The track ‘Latest Style’ will be released under the name Fresh Touch, alongside other artists on the list for charity vinyl outings including Charli XCX, Tim Burgess, Editors and many more.
The cause of the generosity is the upcoming Independent Label Market, who are teaming up with The Vinyl Factory for the occasion. The tracks will only be available at next week’s event at Old Spitalfields Market in London.
