Damon Albarn and Noel Gallagher reportedly working together
As the saying goes “Keep your friends close, your enemies closer”. Well, Blur frontman Damon Albarn and former Oasis man Noel Gallagher really have been getting quite chummy since their mid-90s Britpop warfare.
Having performed together live for charity back in March, it’s now been revealed that the former-foes have been working together on new projects, which could possibly mean future collaborations.
“Damon and Noel Gallagher are working together on a lot of stuff, so whatever was back then is not relevant anymore,” Blur bassist and cheesemaker Alex James told interviewers at Sziget Festival recently. “But we have to add that young bands today are all very nice. We were totally intolerable”.
James has been the source of most Blur news lately, recently revealing that the band recorded new material together during May.
