Daft Punk are never ones to do things the “normal” way. Heck, they basically announced their new album during an ad break of SNL. But choosing to launch said record at an agricultural show in Wee Waa, New South Wales? That’s really something else.
And that’s exactly what the French electronic pair have done, confirming that Random Access Memories will receive a premiere playback at the event in ”Australia’s cotton capital” on 17 May.
Tickets for the fest, limited to just 4,000, go on sale this Friday from here. Daft Punk’s record drops 20 May.
