As expected, Daft Punk topped the UK Singles Chart this weekend with new Pharrell Williams-starring dancefloor filler ‘Get Lucky’ – their first UK number one to date.
The track reached third spot the weekend before, after only being on sale just 48 hours. It’s their highest charting single since 2000′s ‘One More Time’.
The weekend’s chart countdown also saw Phoenix break the Top 20 for the first time, entering at #14 for new record Bankrupt!. Michael Buble remains top of the Albums Chart, with a new entry from Frank Turner in second place.
