Daft Punk named bookies favourite for secret Glastonbury set
With Glastonbury festival fast approaching this weekend, the rumour mill is running wild with what big name bands could be making a surprise appearance at the Worthy Farm event.
Glasto is long known for its secret sets, with impromptu offerings from the likes of Pulp and Radiohead in recent years, and 2013′s outing shouldn’t be any different.
Among the bookies’ favourites so far are Daft Punk, who had been previously linked to every festival under the sun before not getting booked by any, Beady Eye, whose frontman Liam Gallagher vowed to never play Glastonbury again, as well as Kings of Leon and Queens of the Stone Age.
This year’s Glastonbury festival runs from today (26 June) to Sunday (30 June) with Arctic Monkeys, The Rolling Stones and Mumford & Sons as the Pyramid Stage headliners.
