Just last week, super-Earth was unveiled as the new collaborative project of Sleater-Kinney/Corin Tucker Band’s Corin Tucker, R.E.M.‘s Peter Buck and Swans’ Bill Rieflin. Now, a pair of photos has surfaced depicting this monumental grouping of influential artists hitting the studio with a special guest of similar notoriety, Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic.
Lance Bangs snapped the above photo and posted it to his Twitter (@lancebangs) as well as the photo below, which was posted to R.E.M.‘s official Twitter (@remhq) yesterday morning.
Minimal info on what is to come from this recording session for now, but hopefully details will begin to pop up very, very soon.
