Conner Youngblood announces debut album, shares new track "The Birds of Finland"
Multi-instrumentalist Conner Youngblood has announced his debut album Cheyenne, along with revealing new track "The Birds of Finland".
The atmospheric Conner Youngblood has returned with news of his long-awaited debut album Cheyenne.
Alongside the announcement, the American musician has revealed the beautifully soothing new track "The Birds of Finland".
Cheyenne features a plethora of instruments, including a harp, a badd clarinet, a tabia and more, all played by Youngblood himself.
Spanning 13 tracks, his debut album is feature-free, and empowers his sound to emphasise his unique direction.
Directed by Johannes Greve Muskat, the video for "The Birds of Finland" was shot in Finland, during his trip after completing the song.
Speaking about his visit, and resonance to the track, Youngblood explained, "I had always been in love with the idea of bird watching and had always wanted to go to Finland. It just took me writing the song first, to eventually do both of those things. Once we got the camera and a rental car, we basically made up a route across Lapland - from Finland to Norway - and tried to capture everything we encountered along the way. It was incredible and incredibly cold.”
