Coachella could be delayed until October due to coronavirus
LA's double-weekender festival Coachella could be postponed until October in an attempt to avoid cancellation over coronavirus concerns.
Over 250,000 fans are expected to flock to Indio, California for the double-weekender event in April.
New York Magazine and Huffington Post journalist Asher Ali posted about the potential change of dates on Twitter last night (9 March), writing, "A source familiar with the arrangements tells me that the Coachella festival will be postponed due to Coronavirus concerns and moved to the weekends of October 9 and 16. As of now, the same lineup is confirmed to perform."

As of now, the same lineup is confirmed to perform.
Billboard reports that talks about the festival started on Sunday (8 March) with city officials and talent agents, and on Monday three more cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Riverside County, the same county where the festival takes place.
Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, and Rage Against the Machine are due to headline the 2020 festival. Organisers will know within 48 hours whether the change of dates will be possible.
