City and Colour returns with new offering "Astronaut"
City and Colour, aka Dallas Green, has returned with new single "Astronaut".
"Astronaut" is Green's first single since 2017's "Peaceful Road" and "Rain" tracks.
The new single is also the first taste of his upcoming sixth album that is due to land later this year on Green's own Still Records, an imprint of Dine Alone Records.
Speaking about the new single, Green says, "I always think of the relationships in my life that have been fractured because I ended up doing what I do for a living. I’m always gone, wandering around and singing songs. However, it weighs on my family and friends. I’m asking for "one more year". I left home at 21 to go play my guitar. It’s lonely, but it’s because I yearn to wander. I’m aware of how lucky I am."
Green's forthcoming album will be his first since City and Colour's 2015 release If I Should Go Before You.
