Chvrches share new track "Dead Air" taken from Hunger Games soundtrack
It's no secret that the soundtrack to the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is generating some pretty serious hype: curated by teen popstrel Lorde it's set to feature the likes of Kanye West, Miguel, and Charli XCX.
In the run-up to the film, which is released in late November, Scottish trio Chvrches have shared their contribution to the soundtrack, a new track called "Dead Air". For anyone who's seen the band lately it might sound familiar – they've been playing it live for a while now under working titles like "Eddie Murphy" and "Gene Wilder".
It's a suitably moody cut, but doesn't veer too widely from Chvrches electro-pop roots. If this is an example of what we can expect from the soundtrack, it looks like it could be rather exciting.
