Chvrches' Lauren Mayberry reviews the new Warpaint album

Warpaint’s self-titled new album has received mixed reviews on its release but now Chvrches singer Lauren Mayberry has had her own say about the record.
Penning a review for The Talkhouse, Mayberry praises its “atmosphere” and “ambience”, writing that “typical song formats are eschewed. Sounds which do not seem like they should go together; songs that don’t even seem like they should be on the same record as each other, somehow belong”.
