Berkshire-raised artist Chlöe Howl has shared "Do It Alone", a classic R&B-twanged jam with her trademark powerhouse vocals.
This new offering comes in the wake of comeback tune "Magnetic", which arrived over the summer. It's produced by long-time collaborator Chris Zane (Friendly Fires, Passion Pit).
"Knowingly being the other woman is the ultimate crime against girl code for me," explains Howl, "so when I could see things were getting closer between me and a man who was taken I wrote 'Do It Alone' as an ode to all the reasons why I would never ever take that role, even if I wanted to."
Howl plays a sold out date, her first show in two years, at The Waiting Room in London on 6 November.
