Electronic mastermind Dan Deacon has unveiled his remix of Death Cab For Cutie's "Black Sun".
It's no longer the lethargic, brooding indie-pop ballad it once was, with Deacon's experimental hold injecting driving dance percussion, intergalactic atmospheres and a dozerful of FX on Ben Gibbard's voice.
Deacon's latest LP Gliss Riffer is available now via Domino; DCDC's most recent album, the remarkable Kintsugi, is out now via Atlantic.
Stream the remix of "Black Sun" below.
