Charlie Hickey announces debut album with title-track "Nervous At Night"
Saddest Factory Records signee Charlie Hickey has announced his debut album Nervous At Night, and has unveiled the title-track as the lead outing.
"Nervous At Night" is Hickey's first release since covering 8485's "Hangar" in January, and is accompanied by a video directed by Zoe Donahoe and Adam Sputh.
Hickey says of the single, ""Nervous At Night" is one of the first songs that was written for this album. It captures a lot of the anxiety and beauty that comes with growing up and having new feelings. It's a song about being nervous for no particular reason, which is a running theme on this album, and also one that I think a lot of people, particularly of my generation, can relate to."
The single will appear on his debut album, also titled Nervous At Night, which he worked on with childhood friend and label boss Phoebe Bridgers, producer Marshall Vore, as well as Harrison Whitford, Christian Lee Hutson and Mason Stoops.
