The collective of African and Western musicians known as the Africa Express will be heading to the UK in September to play a very special show at Granary Square on September 8.
The full Africa Express line up is yet to be announced, but you can expect to see the likes of Amadou & Mariam, Damon Albarn, Rokia Traore, Kano, Baloji, Charli XCX, Fatoumata Diarawa, Noisettes, Jupiter & Okwess International and Jack Steadman of Bombay Bicycle Club. As with every Africa Express happening, the event will be unrehearsed and unapologetic.
