Celebration confirm first post-4AD release
Celebration, who left 4AD after their previous release in 2007, have confirmed details of their first new work.
Friends Records, the band’s new label, have announced the release of Hello Paradise, which is the Celebration’s first release as part of their Electric Tarot project. A project, unveiled last year, which see’s the band record material based on all the card’s in a Tarot deck. The band has been releasing their progress in free digital form via their website, and this Autumn they will unveil the remainder of the first release.
For the rest of the year, a track and/or video will be premiered online each month until the whole album is available in digital and physical form at the end of the year. Celebration and Friends Records will give away the digital LP online for free, and offer folks to purchase the vinyl.
All of these tracks were recorded and produced by Rob Girardi (Beach House, Double Dagger, Weekends) at Lord Baltimore.
