Cat Power, Gruff Rhys, Peaches & more announced for Brighton Festival 2014

The annual Brighton Festival takes place across the month of May this year, today announcing a first flurry of acts for the contemporary arts event.
Among the musical acts newly confirmed are Cat Power (playing Dome Concert Hall on 18 May), Peaches (playing an adaptation of Jesus Christ Superstar on 19 May), Gruff Rhys (at Corn Exchange on 16 May), plus literary talks with Viv Albertine (The Slits), Ben Watt (Everything But The Girl), Bob Stanley (Saint Etienne) and more.
Brighton Festival runs from 3-25 May in the city. Tickets and more info can be found here.
