Cat Power and Sky Ferreira team up live for Elliott Smith cover

A memorial concert was held in New York earlier this week to mark 10 years since the untimely death of Elliott Smith. Among the musicians enlisted to perform with Cat Power and Sky Ferreira, who teamed up for a rendition of Smith’s “Pretty (Ugly Before)”.

Ferreira had already performed with DIIV’s Zachary Cole Smith for “A Distorted Reality Is Now A Necessity To Be Free”, taking to the stage again with Chan Marshall. You can watch footage from the performance beneath.
