Cassette Store Day announce releases from Efterklang, Xiu Xiu, Fear of Men & more

As previously reported, the first-ever Cassette Store Day has been announced for this coming September – with a new batch of releases now added.

The event, described as ”a celebration of a physical product that is accessible, fun, cheap and still going strong in the turbulent current musical climate”, will take place on 7 September 2013.

Along with already-unveiled releases from At The Drive-In, Flaming Lips, Animal Collective, Deerhunter and more, the inaugural outing will also be marked with offerings from Efterklang (re-releasing debut Tripper), Xiu Xiu (reissuing 2008′s Women As Lovers), Fear Of Men (releasing recent singles collection Early Fragments for the first time on cassette), Playlounge (as part of a Reeks of Effort split) and more.
