Cass McCombs announces new album with lead track "Sleeping Volcanoes"

Singer/songwriter Cass McCombs is back with news of his ninth album Tip of the Sphere, as well as sharing the lead single "Sleeping Volcanoes".
"Sleeping Volcanoes" is the first single from Cass McCombs since his 2016 record Mangy Love.
The new single is lifted from McCombs ninth album Tip of the Sphere, which was recorded at Brooklyn's Figure 8 Studios, owned by Shahzad Ismaily.
Tip of the Sphere sees McCombs enlist his core band of Dan Horne (bass), Otto Hauser (drums) and Frank LoCrasto (piano, organ, and more). The new album is engineered by Sam Owens.

"Sleeping Volcanoes" is available now. Tip of the Sphere arrives on 8 February 2018 via ANTI-, and is available to pre-order now. Cass McCombs plays a few shows in Europe and a sold out London show before heading back to tour the US. Find out more.
