Cardi B has revealed she has an interest in becoming a politician, despite not agreeing with government.

In August 2019, Cardi B sat down with 2020 US President candidate Bernie Sanders for an interview, and they bonded over Franklin D. Roosevelt, and spoke about topics such as police brutality, wages in the US, immigration, healthcare, and student debt.

Last night (12 January), Cardi B revealed on Twitter that she would be interested in a career in politics. She wrote, "I think I want to be a politician. I really love government even tho I don’t agree with Government."

In another tweet, she added, "I will have to explain a lot so I will have to do a video or a live talking about it ...So imma come back to my last two tweets another day.Imma talk about it another day."
