Burna Boy's Twice As Tall album dropping next week is executive produced by Diddy
Burna Boy has revealed that his new album Twice As Tall is arriving next week, and it's executive produced by Diddy.
Twice As Tall was originally announced alongside Burna Boy's June single "Wonderful", but no details were given.
Yesterday (5 August), in a new interview with the New York Times, Burna Boy confirmed that his follow up to last year's African Giant LP will be released next Friday (14 August).

As well as sharing the release date, Burna Boy also revealed the album is executive produced by Diddy. Diddy told the New York Times, "A lot of times when an artist wants to be coached or pushed to maybe a greater level, that’s where I’ve come in. He [Burna Boy], as every artist, he wants his music to be heard by the world. He doesn’t care about crossing over. You know, he’s not trying to get hot. He’s not, like, ‘I want to be a big pop star’ - he’s already a star. He wants his music to be heard, his message, his people."
The interview reveals that Diddy enlisted help from Anderson .Paak (who contributes drums on "Alarm Clock"), and production from Timbaland on "Wetin Dey Sup". Diddy is also present on the LP, contributing voiceover intros to some songs.
Twice As Tall will also feature contributions from Coldplay's Chris Martin, Naughty by Nature, Kenyan band Sauti Sol and Senegal’s Youssou N’Dour.
