A Brooklyn double bill hit the capital last night with hot-as-hell label-mates Friends and Caged Animals in town for their premiere UK show.
The New York-based bands – signed to Lucky Number, home of Darwin Deez – played dazzling sets to a packed Hoxton Bar and Kitchen in East London.
Friends played:
‘Perpetual Crush’
‘Stay Dreaming’
‘A Light’
‘You’re a Thief’
‘Friend Crush’
‘Feelin’ Dank’
‘Boo’
‘I’m His Girl’
‘Va Fan Dar Gu’
There’s still time to catch them again tonight in London at The Shacklewell Arms or in Manchester at the Castle Hotel this Friday. Caged Animals return for a Rough Trade East in-store on 1 October too.
