Bright Eyes recorded a cover of Thin Lizzy's "Running Back" as part of their SiriusXM Session from over the weekend.

Last Friday (21 August), Bright Eyes released their highly-anticipated new album Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was - marking their first LP since 2011's The People's Key.

Over the weekend, the newly-reunited group performed a few sessions for different TV channels and radio stations, including a live performance for SiriusXM Sessions which saw them perform their rendition of Thin Lizzy's "Running Back".

"Running Back" featured on Thin Lizzy's 1976 album Jailbreak, and was intended to be the lead single from the album instead of their "The Boys Are Back in Town" hit.

Bright Eyes' cover of Thin Lizzy's "Running Back" is available to stream on YouTube now. Their Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was album is out now on Dead Oceans.
