American heavy-metal outfit, Manowar have recruited actor, TV presenter and Britain’s favourite shouty man Brian Blessed to lend his famous baritoned vocals to one of their tracks.
The group asked Blessed to help with the re-recording of ‘The Warrior’s Prayer’, a spoken-word track that originally featured on the band’s 1988 album Kings of Metal.
Blessed made the announcement earlier today via Twitter. Seems like it went well…
I had a fantastic time with @MANOWAR in the studio yesterday, re-recording the Warriors Prayer. DEATH TO FALSE METAL!!!!
