-Known for their enigmatic nature, Brand New have announced that they’ve pulled the entirety of their upcoming European tour due to “insurmountable personal issues”.
The Long Island band, whose breakthrough album Deja Entendu recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, had been booked for various festival slots – including Reading and Leeds among them.
The Jesse Lacey-led group released the following statement on the matter:
“Brand New regretfully announce that due to insurmountable personal issues, they have been forced to cancel their August European tour, including appearances at the Reading and Leeds Festivals. Sincere apologies to everyone we are letting down.”
The band released their fourth album Daisy back in 2009. It’s not currently known whether they’re working on a follow-up.
