Braid's Bob Nanna announces debut solo LP with lead single "Mr. Albatross"
Bob Nanna, the singer and guitarist of Braid, has announced his debut solo LP Celebration States, and has shared the lead single "Mr. Albatross".
"Mr. Albatross" is the second track to be lifted from the record, after last year's "Do You Want To Buy A Guitar?", which is also the opening track from his new album.
Celebration States is a complete acoustic album that was recorded in one day at Chicago's Type 1 Recordng by Nanna and Matt Jordan on 7 September 2019 - the day that would’ve been Nanna’s wedding anniversary.
Nanna explains that the LP "documents the highs and lows of a one year-long story. It’s autobiographical and I purposely awaited a positive resolution before I decided to complete the project."
