Bradford Cox and Black Lips singer feature on new track with experimental artist Lonnie Holley
As previously reported, Deerhunter frontman Bradford Cox and Black Lips vocalist Cole Alexander have contributed to the second album from experimental musician, visual artist and all round eccentric, Lonnie Holley.
The 63 year old Alabama native, known for his wild, raw improvisational style is releasing the album, titled Keeping a Record of It, on 3 September via Dust-to-Digital.
Before then, however, you can listen to one of the cuts below, the 13 minute-strong ‘From the Other Side of the Pulpit’, via Pitchfork.
Holley also appeared as part of the line-up for this year’s Deerhunter-curated ATP Festival, alongside the likes of Steve Reich, Robin Hitchcock and Atlas Sound.
